Tick...tick...tick...

With 12 days remaining before the first Global Rallycross event at Irwindale Speedway, tickets have been released and are now available. They are a good deal to at only $5 for Friday and jumping only to $20 for Saturday, pretty cheap for a high end event like this.

Now if they can just pull off a quality show.

As it stands right now, GRC has yet to finalize media credentials and the aforementioned tickets have only gone on sale in the last 24 hours.

If they pull off a decent crowd of spectators and decent racing it will be quite a feat given the short period of time this is being set up in and minimal to non-existent marketing to attendees that has occurred.  As far as the racers themselves go, right now there are only 11 entries, four 2WD and seven AWD.  GRC is stating that they have another big name to be added to the list as of Monday 3/14, and I sure hope they do, but they need more than just a handful of big names to make this work...

The clock is running...
