The '09 Xterra continues the Xterra's heritage of winning awards for being a true SUV at a reasonable price. Since its inception when it won Motortrend's SUV of the year in '00 and then again in '05 when it was redesigned, the Xterra has been at the top of its class for near a decade now. Four Wheeler magazine is the latest to praise the Xterra for all that it is and all that it is not. If you need an SUV you owe it to yourself to test one of the last of a dying breed before buying anything else...
