Nissan Holding Its Own--El Dakaro Day 3...

Shockingly, against teams with near billion dollar (that's a B folks) budgets, fielding multi-car efforts a number of Nissan vehicles are running well.  With four vehicles in the top twenty and two in the top fifteen, Nissan is off to a solid start given the lack of factory support for these racers.  All four vehicles are ones that I mentioned in the run up to the Dakar with Krzysztof Holowczyc and his South African built Navara (Frontier) currently in 8th overall some 34 minutes out of the overall lead.  As a former pro-rally driver, Krzysztof's driving style suits itself well to the Dakar and its need for highly technical and precise driving.
