With Stage 11 cancelled due to fog (really???) The Dakar has crossed back over the Andes and will be running on the East side of them back to Buenos Aires the rest of the way. With only four stages remaining Nissan trucks hold THREE of the top ten positions...All privateer efforts, all Navara's they are performing AWESOME...I don't think Nissan could have hoped for a better result given the extremely minimal factory support these teams are getting. So here is where they stand--6th place: #327 Ivar Erik Tollefsen, 7th place: #317 Krysztof Holoczyc and in 10th #331 Laszlo Palik. Can't count you chickens just yet but it looks like a remarkably solid finish for Nissan.
