Jack Tramiel, RIP

The name may not be familiar but his product should be very familiar to those of my age.  Jack was the Auschwitz survivor and founder of Commodore International, the developer of the Commodore 64.  The C64 followed my beloved VIC-20 and allowed me to spend hours upon hours behind a computer screen in preparation for my professional life some 20 years later.

Jack's story is a uniquely American one and one that deserves more recognition than it has gotten to date.

You will be missed Jack, but your legacy lives on in every personal computer user and gaming aficionado alive.
Jack Tramiel passes away....
