The Samara was called the Sputnik (Satellite) in Russia and thus this Canadian team's name: rallysputnik.com
Another item you don't see every day in Stage Rally is a competitive passing move...but with the low powered Lada being followed by a more powerful and AWD Subaru, I guess they should have known this would happen...
