Video Game Racer Makes the Big Leagues...

Three short years ago Lucas Ordonez was only a chair jockey, playing video games for fun and looking to get his MBA.

Now?  He is a true professional racer putting his life on the line and entered in the Intercontinental LeMans Series with his first shot at the top tier of endurance racing to come in a few weeks at the 12 Hours of Sebring behind the wheel of a LMP2 class Nissan for the Signatech team.

With Nissan/Sony opening a North American division for their GT Academy, one can hope that a "gamer" here in the States will have a similar shot at an incredible rise to fame, fortune and adventure as Lucas has.
