It was, for the most part, a complete snoozefest. The New England International Auto Show is decidedly on the third or fourth tier of Auto Shows with no new vehicle introductions or big news coming out of it...the only benefit it has is that it comes shortly after the 1st tier LA Auto show and can sometimes be the first time one here on the East Coast gets and in person view of a particular model...
For me it was the first time seeing the 2011 Nissan Quest, new Ford Focus and new Ford Explorer in person. The rest of the vehicles garnered little of my attention. The Focus by the way is going to be a BIG winner...It is sharp and will relegate the Civic and Corolla to also ran status. Ford continues to have a strong run of new products in its lineup--the same cannot be said of Chevrolet, whose vehicles (including the way over-hyped Volt) are all blander than whitebread and look, well, overstuffed. Enjoy the amateur pictures I collected...
The new Honda CRZ Engine Bay...
The Honda CRZ dash...
A WAAAAAY over the top Camaro...Gotta respect the sentiment however...
And of course...there was a plethora of bright, silly, overdone Camaros...
More to come...
