For the Nissan GT-R. This time on the asphalt of Western Australia. Not only did a GT-R team take first place in the QUIT Targa West Tarmac Rally but a GT-R team also took third as well with a Porsche GT2 sandwiched in between.No offense to the FIA's GT1 series which I think is great, but it is events like this that I think show the GT-R's true character. In the FIA's GT1 series the GT-Rs used are RWD, not AWD, and do not use the GT-R's real powerplant (instead of a twin turbo V6 they use a non-turbo 8 cylinder engine) amongst many changes.
