Not Such a Good Result in Spain...
for Nissan this past weekend. Lest I be accused of talking about Nissan race results only when they are good, may I present the '09 edition of the Baja Espana. With two of Nissan's top privateers entered in the event (Boris Gadasin and Krysztof Holowczyc) expectations were appropriately high. Neither competitor saw the end of the race however. Holowczyc truly blew an engine while Gadasin had an engine sensor fail giving him an inproper signal that made him think he was about to toast his engine and thus resulting in him abandoning the race, only later to discover the faulty sensor...One Nissan did finish in the top ten, that being the Patrol of Technosport Spain driven by a Maruzio Traglio who finished in ninth place...Back to the drawing board I guess...
