Ahh...the ups and downs of the Dakar...one day you are sitting in the top 15 of the best offroad racers in the world...the next? Well...the next you are roasting marshmellows on the remains of your engine block. So it is for one of Nissan's best hopes for a top finish at this years Dakar. Christian Lavieille and his Team Dessoude Nissan Navara were only moments from the end of Stage 5 when their vehicle caught fire, was engulfed in flames and completely destroyed in mere seconds.
